- Professor Carlos Simon has received the 2026 Award for Personal and Professional Excellence from the Orden del Querer Saber, a Valencian association chaired by Marisa Marín.
The award was presented during a ceremony held in Valencia, where the Orden del Querer Saber recognized several professionals from different fields for their careers, social commitment and contribution to public life, science, culture and innovation.
Carlos Simon was honored for his work as a clinician-scientist and for his long-standing contribution to reproductive medicine and women’s health. Throughout his career, he has combined clinical practice, biomedical research and translational innovation to improve the diagnosis and treatment of reproductive and gynecological conditions.
The 2026 edition also recognized figures such as Pilar Roig, Mayren Beneyto, Vicente Aguilar, Alfonso Valle and the Federation of Musical Societies of the Valencian Community, among others.
