Carlos Simón has been recognized among the world’s top 2% most cited scientists in the Stanford–Elsevier World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking, a global classification that identifies researchers with the highest scientific impact across all disciplines.
The ranking, developed by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, evaluates more than 236,000 researchers worldwide using standardized citation metrics and authorship indicators.
Carlos Simón appears in the field of Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine, reflecting his sustained contribution to advancing research in women’s reproductive health through translational and clinically oriented science.
This distinction also includes Inmaculada Moreno and Felipe Vilella, researchers affiliated with the Carlos Simón Foundation and the INCLIVA Biomedical Research Institute, highlighting the collective strength of the research ecosystem in which this work is developed.
